Free Admission and Good Eats at the Maltz Museum
Cleveland, Ohio – August 2, 2011 – Since 2005, the Maltz Museum has upheld its mission to build bridges of tolerance and understanding by sharing Jewish heritage through the lens of the American experience. On Sunday, August 14 the Museum would like to share a bowl of matzo ball soup with you at its Jewish Food & Culture Festival.
Now in its 4th year, this annual event brings to life the many tastes of Jewish living yesterday and today. Join the Maltz Museum for a fun-filled day of treats – both sweet and savory – along with guided tours, a Marx Brothers classic and plenty of Jewish entertainment! “This Festival has created a fun way to experience various aspects of this old and rich culture. No one goes home with an empty stomach or an empty heart” says Museum Director of Volunteers & Visitor Services Martha Sivertson.
Enjoy Corky & Lenny’s Matzo Ball Soup, Jack’s Deli latkes, Aladdin’s hummos, Whole Foods Israeli salad, Vienna Hotdogs, Mister Brisket, Chef Dave’s Catering Salmon on salad, Hermann’s Pickles, Chopped Liver courtesy of food maven Ellen Vendeland, and delicious homemade treats.
