In honor of International Holocaust Remembrance Day, join Dr. Kenneth F. Ledford, History Department Chair and Associate Professor of Law at Case Western Reserve University, for a special lecture on What the U.S. Taught the Nazis. In 1935, Adolf Hitler announced the passing of the Nuremberg Laws, establishing a legal structure that allowed for systematic persecution of Jews in Germany – an ideology inspired by American race law. Don’t miss this fascinating discussion.
An optional docent-led tour of the special exhibition This Light of Ours: Activist Photographers of the Civil Rights Movement will be available from 6pm to 7pm, for those wishing to register at no extra charge. Please note your interest at registration.
