Get firsthand perspectives from the cast of Jake Heggie’s world-renowned opera, Two Remain. During this talkback, you’ll hear from the opera’s two main characters: Holocaust survivors, Krystyna Zywulska (Lara Troyer) and Gad Beck (Eric van Baars).
Register for the Opera on September 26th Renowned American composer Jake Heggie’s visceral opera Two Remain is based on the true stories of Holocaust survivors and their reflections from their time in the Auschwitz concentration camp during WWII. The stories of Krystyna Zywulska, a Polish dissident, and Gad Beck, a Jewish gay man, act as reminders of the horrific pain of the Holocaust and the enduring power of love and humanity.
Nightingale Opera Theatre combines forces with Australian arts organizations to bring this production of Two Remain to Cleveland audiences.
