Join us to experience the special exhibition DEGENERATE! Hitler’s War on Modern Art before it opens to the public! Featuring a presentation from Molly Dubin, Chief Curator, Jewish Museum Milwaukee. Members are welcome to explore the museum all day. In order to ensure a seat, please register in advance for the 2 pm presentation.
DEGENERATE! Hitler’s War on Modern Art explores how artwork was used as propaganda to sway public opinion by the Nazi Party. Part history, part art show, the exhibition features famous works labeled as “degenerate” by the regime, including works by world-renowned artists such as Pablo Picasso, Marc Chagall, Wassily Kandinsky, Ernst Ludwig Kirchner, George Grosz, and more.
