As a gift to the community around the Yom HaShoah (Holocaust Remembrance Day)/Yom HaAtzmaut (commemorating the Israeli Declaration of Independence in 1948) season, the Maltz Museum is offering free admission to all on Sunday, April 14 (11am – 5pm). In lieu of admission, the Museum asks visitors to make a contribution to the Jewish Family Service Association Care at Home: Holocaust Survivor Support Program at the door. With admission, visitors can tour both permanent collections and the special exhibition Spots of Light: To Be a Woman in the Holocaust (on display through June 9).
