MORE THAN MONEY: CAC Provides Different Types Of Resources

CAC SupportThank you!  Last Tuesday voters renewed funding for Cuyahoga Arts & Culture (CAC). CAC helps to ensure that our Northeast Ohio community maintains a high level of access to the educational and social benefits of the arts. True, only organizations in Cuyahoga County can receive funding, but the reach of those organization stretches far beyond the county line. For example, in addition to serving Cuyahoga County residents the Maltz Museum runs programs in Lorain County, hosts tour groups from other states and attracts visitors from foreign countries.

Another way CAC strives to keep our arts and culture institutions healthy is by providing professional development resources. These ensure that organizations have the resources they need to build and maintain a strong financial outlook. CAC also hosts roundtables where organizations can network with each other, sharing their challenges and plans and finding resources through their peers.

CAC also provides a platform for organizations, even those that do not receive their funding, to post and promote their events, performances, exhibitions and programs.  To make sure you have the best access to all that is happening in this thriving arts and culture community, visit CAC’s website. The calendar is searchable by date, price and type of event.

We really appreciate the support we get from CAC and the support the community showed for Issue 8.   We look forward to seeing you at one of our events or exhibitions very soon!
