Donating to the Maltz Museum supports programs that encourage children to embrace their own differences and appreciate differences in others. The arts-integrated Youth Sing Out initiative empowering students to become agents of positive change in their community is just one example of our efforts in this area. After delving into human rights history on a visit to the Maltz Museum, middle and high school work with a Roots of American Music teaching artists to collaboratively pen a song expressing their collective feelings on the devastating effects of intolerance. The group then performs the original song for a chance to win a $5,000 anti-bias education grant for their school. Your gift helps to make this Stop the Hate® program, as well as our educational field trips and interactive family days, possible.
Thank you for considering a gift to the Maltz Museum and partnering with us to ensure a more accepting and inclusive world.
