In order to better serve our dedicated supporters the Museum has made several changes to its membership program. First, we have changed some of the level names to better reflect our mission as a museum of diversity and tolerance. (For example, promoting acceptance is achieved in part by encouraging “upstanders,” “championing” inclusion and celebrating everyday “superheroes”–new labels for our donor circles.)
In an effort to ensure our benefits enable Members to engage with the Museum in meaningful and unique ways, we have enhanced some of the Donor Circle level benefits. These donors now receive invitations to exclusive programs and tours, VIP receptions and behind-the-scenes opportunities, depending on the level of support.
Finally, we have simplified how we present the program. Now, instead of three Individual member levels there is only one. Seniors (60+) still receive 15% off Individual ($42.50) and Household ($63.75) memberships, while students qualify for a 15% discount on any Individual membership. Members eligible for these discounts should mention they are a senior or student when joining by phone or in-person. Members mailing in renewals should tick the discount checkbox. Online applicants can enter a the promo code SENIOR15.
