Presented by arrangement with Dramatists Play Service and Directed by Bob Kilpatrick, The Diary of Anne Frank by Frances Goodrich & Albert Hackett, newly adapted by Wendy Kesselman, is one of the most famous and haunting stories to emerge from the 20th Century. The memoirs of this young Jewish girl, forced to hide for nearly two years with her family to escape Nazi persecution, are an essential part of how we remember one of the darkest periods of our human history. The play originally debuted on Broadway in 1955 and then later toured the country, and has since introduced millions of Americans to the Holocaust and its victims. Don’t miss your chance to experience the story through the artistry of the 13th Street Theatre at the Ashtabula Arts Center.
